POSITION: Indian Specialty Chef
SALARY: 7,000 AED basic salary + 1 bedroom apartment, quarterly bonus, transportation, duty meals, uniform, annual ticket and insurance
HIRING COMPANY: 5-Star Hotel
LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately or maximum 1-month
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Open to INDIAN nationals only
Male, 35 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Degree in Pastry / Bakery / Hotel Management or its equivalent
Minimum of 3-4 years in a supervisory level at least Sous Chef position, preferably from a 5-star hotel
HACCP certification is a plus
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervises the Outlet Kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
Monitors all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost
Monitors regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality
Participates in menu engineering
Ensures consistent on the job training sessions for workmates and subordinates
Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
Ensures that the outlet’s operational budget is in line and costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability
