Jotun MEIA region is looking for young talents, like you, for one-year graduate program that will be integrated into a full-time permanent position. The Jotun MEIA graduate program will take you through a challenging and exciting journey in the organization. As a selected candidate, you will also be given specific tasks and assignments for a maximum period of 3 months outside your home location, within the MEIA region.

As R&D Chemist, you will be responsible to To develop and maintain products by preparing, testing and evaluating paint/binder/raw materials to ensure that the goals of the R&D plan are reached.
This position is based in Dubai and will be reporting to the Regional R&D Manager - Decorative Interior.
Duties and responsibilities:
Carry out required development and maintenance tasks by planning, formulating, testing and evaluating recipes and raw materials.
Search for and make use of knowledge through literature, practical experience, learning from others as well as attending courses to be in a position to work more independently with more complex R&D tasks.
Report results from development and maintenance work both orally and written through R&D and monthly reports to ensure that the correct decisions, based on current experience, are made.
Search for and make use of relevant knowledge, including new technology, fields through literature, patents, course, contact with raw material suppliers and internal sources.
