* Compile and maitain records.
* Write the regular department meeting minuts.
* Provides academic and administrative support service in order to insure efficiency and effectiveness within the human resource management department.
* Direct walk-in visitors to the approprait academic and administrative offices.
* Maintain the general gilling system and file all important correspondence and reports.
* Read and screen incoming correspondence and reports.
* Make preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and organize documents.
* Respond to inquires, receive and screen incoming calls and visitors and alert the concerned department personnel accordingly.
* Compose letters and memoranda upon the instructions of the department chair.
* Coordinate office management activities for the staff and department chair.
* Make referral to appropraite staff or provide requested information.
* Provide and assist others as needed.
* Maintain adequate stationaries for the staff and department chair.
* Maintain compliance with all university polices and procedures.
* perform other duties as needed.
