ROLE SUMMARY
Deliver consistent, high quality and repeatable primary care 24/7 to Aetna members and drive the highest level of member satisfaction with the service. This includes diagnosis, advice and treatment (prescription) as appropriate
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver quality primary care consults to Aetna members leveraging technology (audio / video / chat). Follow up with members as and when clinically required.
- Take over the role of family doctor for his patients ensuring they get the care they need, when they need and where they need it - become the custodian of their health.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (providers / pharmacies etc.) to ensure the best possible clinical outcome for the member.
- Hold clinics 1 - 2 times per month, at our member workplaces around the Dubai metro-area, to provide in-person clinical care to our members and educate them about the virtual primary care service.
- Learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Aetna clinical protocols and apply them in delivery of virtual care.
- Maintain clinical knowledge currency and accuracy.
- Participate in consultation audits and clinical content development as directed by the Medical Director.
- Assist Medical Director in training of new joiners in Aetna systems, processes, PMS and protocols etc.
- Maintain the highest level of customer centricity ensuring the best possible member experience during and post consultation.
