Position Title : Corporate Communication Manager
Division : Public Relations - Communication
Reporting to : Head of Corporate Public Relations
Job Summary/Main Purpose
The Corporate Communication Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external messaging throughout the organization. As an advisor to top executives, the Corporate Communication Manager works closely with the management team to ensure that all messages within the organization is aligned with the company communication strategy and are consistent with the brand guidelines. He/she will promote the positive image of the company - internally to staff and externally to stakeholders, media and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
• Establishes and implements effective and appropriate internal and external communications channels (Internet, Press Releases, Social Media, and Intranet, etc.)
• Ensures communications messages are respecting all communications strategy for each market
• Provides reactive communications support to the regions as it relates to area or industry issues
• Devises strategies and tactics for a comprehensive communications program
• Coaches, supports and acts as a communication counsel to executive team
• Ensures that timely and consistent delivery of messages is aligned with local communications plans
• Creates strategic communication plans and execute those plans to drive measurable results
• Designs, develops, writes, edits, and produces internal employee communications in order to relay organization strategies, policies, activities
• Enables external media relations in market in support of international expansion, business development, manufacturing plans, partnerships, brand launches, pricing issues, market access, sales and marketing practices
• Manages the media spokesperson for projects as required
• Collaborates and coordinates with global and corporate colleagues to ensure local project needs are clearly articulated and supported globally
• Manages a broad range of internal communications initiatives that increase employees’ engagement to deliver business success
• Establishes operating budgets with all external agencies engaged in the communications work and manage activities to deliver desired outcomes within the established budget
