JOB DESCRIPTION

* Understands our target customers we need to supply to
* Ability to cold call and follow up new sales leads and existing customers in a timely manner
* Persistent and use sales tactics in order to get customers on board
* Receive inbound calls and place outbound calls to customers in order to provide information about products and services, or to take orders, arrange meetings, etc
* Arrange own meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
* Negotiate the terms of a sale (price, costs, delivery and specifications) with buyers and close the sale.
* Gather and maintain detailed market and target customer information including a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements.
* Maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's products, services and pricing structures.
* Maintain a monthly personal sales activity plan including the quantity, direction and quality of all sales activity.
* Research new market opportunities and map out potential customers * and competitors.
* Co-ordinate with admin and logistics staff regarding deliveries and orders.
* Provide monthly reports on sales by item and by customers
* Assist in preparing, participation and coordination of all events
* Understand stock levels and co-ordinate with propositions to management on actions to be taken.
* Visit existing customers regularly, gathering feedback and taking the appropriate post visit action
* Co-ordinate with merchandisers with regards to stock and service of current customers
