As Sales Merchandiser is to ensure all outlets are consistent with the Jomara Brand image in line with visual merchandising standards, Products shelf life and infestation is monitored and all in-store products are available on the shelf.
Key Accountabilities:
Scope of work:
• Work closely with Sales Executive regarding shelf space and VM guideline.
• Ensure all Jomara displays are consistent with the brand image.
• Create attractive display and store layout to increase sales revenue and getting decorative effect.
• Transfer & display products from receiving areas and storage to shelf.
• Ensure that rented space area is fully utilized.
• Monitor product stock level and keep Sales Executive updated.
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Meet required cleanness /hygiene standards.
• Prepare required orders in coordination with team and supervisors whenever required.
Job Accountabilities
• To ensure that Jomara displays are well presented and merchandised to the highest of standards at all time.
• Coordinate with drivers regarding forthcoming deliveries.
• Implement and install special rentals, gondolas, niches and shop counter display as per Bateel Guidelines, using the available space to the best advantage.
• Sourcing materials and display elements, props and required VM accessories.
• Train the supermarket team about design concepts, visual display standards, and the proper maintenance of the overall visual display, to help building and understand of aesthetics.
• Ensure that shelfs are always and frequently re-filled.
• Training and motivating supermarket staff for shop merchandising, new product launching and seasonal themes.
• Attend supermarket stock counts as and when required.
• Demonstrate profound product knowledge.
• Ensure that Jomara hygiene standards are met at all times and that all products are handled accordingly. Inform Executives and Manager regarding violation, if any.
• Ensure daily check lists are filled in and reported.
• In case of interacting with customers directly, use the prescribed selling techniques to provide customers with a friendly, courteous experience.
• Participate in year-end inventory and cycle.
• Keep watch at the competitors’ activities and keep colleagues informed.
• Help colleagues and junior peers to learn and perform their job well.
• Report to manager on customer feedback and complaints.
• Monitor stock levels and share findings with supervisor.
• Record and report all damages and expiries and follow quarantine procedure as per guidelines.
