 Supervise Instrument Engineering Input to the development of Operation, Maintenance and Integrity Philosophies (OMI) of the projects.
 Reviews / comments and approves new projects design / construction packages prepared by Project Divisions and coordinates and compiles comments of other discipline engineers in Production Business Unit for Electrical lead packages to ensure meeting operational objectives.
 Provide technical expertise in HAZOP / HAZID / SAFOP studies for electrical network and Electrical & Instrument System audit.
 Provide day to day Instrument Engineering support and advice to the maintenance teams.
 Acts as technical authority / custodian for the entire Instruments Installations / equipment and systems, Standardisation and pre-qualification of OEM / equipment manufactures.
 Analyse Instrument Equipment history data in terms of failure Analysis and spare parts consumption and inject the experience to selection of equipment’s during project execution.
 Take the lead in condition monitoring report analysis to identify potential equipment failure and improvement opportunities.
 Optimise the delivery of Instrument Engineering and work packs for the asset.
 Assist in preparing Start up and commissioning procedures for Instrument systems.
 Assist in formulating in house Engineering development and training program based on lesson learnt or site installation problems or difficulties.
