Purpose Statement
To follow the trucking operations mainly in East Africa and ensure the information in the trading system / the different reports are accurate and ready to be exploited.
Key Deliverables
- Negotiate and validate transport agreements and renewal (Mozambique + Tanzania)
- Schedule delivery programs with customers and terminals
- Source trucks from transporters pool
- Send truck nomination to terminals
- Monitor truck loading and truck deliveries
- Update customers on daily basis
- Manage potential truck accidents with transporters and insurers
- Review truck invoices
- Manage transit losses
- Review demurrage invoices
- Follow up with Trade finance team and treasury for payments
- Monitor and reconcile positions with agent, surveyors, transporters and terminals
- Update operational system (Nova) on daily basis
