The role of Manager for Learning and Discovery is to support the Director with design and implementation of exceptional experiences for schools and clearly demonstrate the education value of Expo 2020 Dubai. He/she will contribute to strategies for school engagement and ensure that the educational value of Expo 2020 is well articulated and positioned to support school visitation.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop solutions to meaningfully engage with UAE schools and position the educational value of Expo 2020 to support school visitation;
- Deploy relevant educational methodologies to align Expo School Programme initiatives with educational benchmarks, objectives and vision;
- Support schools to extend learning beyond the classroom using Expo learning resources, events, initiatives, and visits;
- Contribute to strengthening relationships with schools, school owners, and education providers through different educational, engaging and experiential offerings and services, before and during Event time;
- Lead in ensuring continuous and meaningful engagement with schools to inspire and support visitation;
- Engage with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure schools have a clear understanding of the learning value of Expo 2020;
- Support team in delivering exceptional educational products and services before and during Event time.
