Are you interested in utilizing your landscape architectural background to design public realm, parks, open space and large infrastructure landscape developments? Parsons is hiring a high calibre Principle Landscape Architect who will independently perform a wide variety of conventional and complex assignments by applying landscape architectural design standards, practices, and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting landscape studies & assessments, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports.
Prepare & reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, construction documents, reports and presentations.
Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Write landscape construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Interfaces with suppliers as required.
Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site.
Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
Provides technical guidance to Landscape Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
