The Flavours Creation and Application (FC&A) organisation within Givaudan is at the forefront to discover and develop new innovative ingredients and flavours for all kinds of food application focussing on the Beverages, Sweet Goods & Dairy, Snacks, Bakery, Savoury, Natural, and other exciting categories. We are a truly global organisation consisting of multidisciplinary experts from science, creation, application, and sensory science.
We are currently looking to recruit an ‘Intern’ for our Flavours Creation and Application (FC&A) team for the Middle East and based in our Dubai office for six months and with a start date possibly in October/November 2019. Reporting into the Flavours Technical Manager for the Middle East, this fantastic opportunity will allow you to translate and extend your theoretical knowledge and understanding of Flavours development and applications to practical experiences, and will offer excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.

In this exciting role, we can offer you:
• A responsible and demanding project work
• Involved in a a wide range of tasks in our Flavours Creation and Application Lab - assist in applying flavours to food products when assigned, customise and optimise product recipes, conduct tastings, participate in the evaluation of raw materials (including experimental ingredients) and new technologies, maintain organised stock of raw materials in the lab, assist with the management of formula records and brief documentation, and support the implementation of EHS guidelines and ongoing practices in the lab.
• Close cooperation with other areas such as marketing, commercial, pricing, and quality.
• Flat hierarchies in an open-minded team.
• Support with other administrative tasks when required.
• Integration into an international working environment.
