An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Director to join our Customer Team in the Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace business; we are looking for a highly motivated Aerospace Sales individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.
The Customer Team within Civil Aerospace is pivotal in helping Rolls-Royce prosper. As a Sales Director in this team, you will be significant role in delivering sustainable business for both new aircraft and in-service fleets through original equipment sales and long-term maintenance support agreements. As such you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, developing sales strategies, positioning Rolls-Royce products and services, developing campaign tactics, pitching commercial solutions and negotiating complex and high value proposals.
The Sales Director role is based in our Customer Service Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Accountabilities
- Operate as the Sales Director for specific, in-region sales campaigns, including defining strategy and managing the campaign team, to secure the sale of Original Equipment and Services to commercial airlines.
- Build strong and effective relationships with the leadership teams of commercial airlines.
- Building effective working relationships with the sales teams of the airframers, as well as key internal stakeholders and decision makers.
- Deliver sales objectives and financial metrics.
- Operate as part of the wider Rolls-Royce account team for those airlines where you are assigned to manage sales campaigns.
- Helping foster a world-class selling culture in terms of:
- Winning campaigns in accordance with business targets.
- Having an absolute determination to “win right”, demonstrating ethical behaviours and adherence to Rolls-Royce policies.
- Sharing best practice and embedding sales knowledge.
- Driving functional improvement activities.
- Effective Sales reporting using CRM tools.
