- • Ensure timely installation, full coordination between factory and site
• Order of material for the site in line with Coordination with Procurement, Planning
• Carries clear responsibility and accountability for the delivery of the Project’s goals as set down by the Client/ Consultant / Mutually agreed Program
• Process and obtain approval for each Variation Works before execution
• Overall project cost control including variations registers, EOT, Prolongation Claims
• Overall project administration including incoming/outgoing correspondences, safety inductions, filing, document control correspondence and Proper coordination with Commercial department
• Establishes the necessary dedicated team personnel based on the packaging strategy developed and works with the Project Services Manager to satisfy all monitoring/control/reporting requirements, and non-dedicated functions
• Responsible for frequent contact with management personnel from vendors and authorities
• Obtains Client's acceptance/completion of the work, and approval upon handing over of Subcontract Scope of Works for the assigned projects.
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of the final project report, and prompt closeout of the subcontract conditions
• Study the project contract documents to understand the project obligations, constraints, and requirements
• Recognize the established B.O.Q and identify the scope of works and clarify all the queries related to it from the commercial/estimation department
• Analyze the project budget assigned for various activities to set budget checkpoints at various stages of the project ensuring execution within budget constraints.
• Review the project planning report to understand the various milestones set, Manpower distribution and flow to alarm the management on any objections on the factors considered.
• Liaise with Technical / Procurement / Production departments with appropriate schedules to ensure a smooth flow of materials for the execution of the project.
• Assist the main contractor for Project related coordination by answering all requests, concerns & questions.
• Coordinate with consultants and the main contractor on the resolution of design and construction issues.
• Monitoring the documentation and submission of method statements, Risk assessment reports, Safety plan, Material Submissions, technical submission, etc.… to fulfill the project requirements
• Able to read and interpret IFC and Architectural drawings
• Ensuring the approvals on shop drawing, material and executed project scope installations
• Ensuring for safe access and quality compliance on executions as per project specification and quality plan.
• Recording the delay events by notifying the Main/other contractors for future claiming purposes and to tackle the delay allegations/charging.
• Recording the project scope varied items and assisting the commercial department for timely Notification, Documents submission for the time and cost impacts.
• Achieving target outputs with optimized resources to ensure smooth progress and timely completion
• Attending all project-related meetings and recording our requisites and deliberations.
• Regularly holds information meetings with Main/other contractors to discuss the project and progress of projects.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and able to analyze and troubleshoot project execution issues.
• Supervises and provides guidance to the crew and sub-contractors to ensure the proper technique for installation, and equipment is utilized properly and efficiently. When required, assigns job tasks to the crew members.
• Monitors crew members’ performance, providing feedback for improvement, positive reinforcement and takes necessary corrective action when required.
• When required coordinates the daily activities of project staff, construction trades and subcontractors, and use corrective actions to keep the projects on time and on budget.
• Assist in the resolution of change in site condition issues, change requests, material defects, and equipment problems.
• Monitor job progress and organize monthly progress report to the commercial team for prompt invoicing and certifications
• Liaise with project closeout team for the appropriate documentation for the project handing over
• Required oral and written communication skills towards the external and internal client, customer and suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude and phone etiquette.
• Develop a trusting relationship with main contractors, sub-contractors and project client’ teams to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Locate new sources of business and works to encourage referrals to the company.
