Responsibilities:

Works closely with the creative team and head of styling to understand the latest looks and trends and on-brand Hair & Makeup for the business.

· When required, create inspiring, brand relevant and on-trend Hair & Makeup looks for all shoots, ensuring it is commercial and in line with all the brand's DNA.

· Accurately follows client briefs to ensure the Hair & Makeup is on brand.

· Continually has a firm understanding of current and upcoming trends and how they can relate to LMG’s brands.

· Create and present Hair & Makeup briefs to the team.

· Builds and maintains close relationships with the studio and shoot team.

· Foster pro-activity within the broader team (willing to go the extra mile)

· Passionate - enthusiasm for the task at hand

Pre-Shoot

· Prepare hair and makeup kit daily for all ecom studio shoots, ensuring kit is cleaned prior to shooting.

· Works with other members of the studio team to ensure that the hair and makeup looks strong when the model is on set in front of the lighting.

· Challenge / query hair and makeup briefs received from the shoot team if required when working with different models, skin tone and hair textures.

· Proactively organize and prepare for shoots on tight schedules.

· Works closely with other departments on Hair and makeup requirements i.e. social media team on Instagram shoots.

On Set

· Prepare models every morning for ecommerce shooting in a timely manner, ensuring the H&M is in keeping with the brief.

· Be on set to supervise and adjust hair and makeup as and when required, throughout the shoot day, doing touch ups where necessary.

· Make commercial and considered decisions concerning Hair & Makeup and communicate any proposed stylistic edits to key stakeholders.

· Be open to receiving feedback on H&M daily from the shoot team during the hair and makeup approval process.

· Post-Shoot - Attends & actively contributes at shoot feedback monthly meetings, and shares key learns from shoots.

· Constantly review shoots worked on and compare back with the delivery of the brief.

· Stays on top of the hair and makeup kit and ensures it's up to date/cleaned and ordering in when stock is low.
