Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction - Mechanical, MEP

Up to 30,000 AED per month all-in
Contract up to July 2021
The Project
· A high specification Energy & Utilities project under construction in Sharjah.
· This position is working for the main contractor.
The Responsibilities
· Report to the Subcontracts Manager and based on site, which works 6 x 10 hour days.
· Assist with cost planning and estimating, cash flow and forecasting, claims and dispute resolution during post contract stage and post contract stage.
· Measure value of works done on site by subcontractors, challenge and track changes and provide input to budget projections accordingly.
· Support construction manager in review of subcontractors’ monthly payment/progress claims to maximise contractor’s cash flow.
· Identify, analyse and report commercial risks.
· Support preparation, quantification and review of claims (EOT and cost, Variations).
· Work in conjunction with site engineers to solve project design issues affecting site works with minimum impact on subcontracts.
