Quest is working with global FMCG business who are looking to appoint a Product Development Manager to work on innovative food categories within their UAE team. They seek an ambitious individual with proven experience in NPD, starting with R&D through to developing creative new foods for the client's many brands and ranges.
The company is a business who pride themselves on creating delicious quality products for their major retail and foodservice accounts. They are currently experiencing impressive growth and have plans for continued development.
Key responsibilities:
\[ Managing the whole NPD process from concept through to launch.
\[ Leading a team, you will be a hands-on and inspirational manager coming up with creative, technically sound, and commercially viable concepts.
\[ You will be good at the customer-facing aspects of this role; with a commercial approach you will engage in relationships with senior level clients across both retail and foodservice.
The ideal candidate will be
\[ Degree educated in Food Science or a related discipline.
\[ Have a proven track record of success within an NPD management role.
\[ Current or recent exposure to fresh and ambient food manufacturing
\[ Possess an thorough knowledge of the grocery retail sector.
\[ You will be a self-starter with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
\[ Both branded and own-label NPD experience is beneficial with some experience within a branded manufacturer being an advantage.
