Role Profile: Undertake all activities within ones own department to achieve company objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
Collect, process and communicate relevant data in a timely manner, prioritising where necessary.
Analyse reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition.
Verify/justify sick leave issued by external medical care providers and feedback where necessary.
Offer evidence of sick leave/pay abuse to HR if and when required Ensure department complies with company, local market and legal, policies, procedures and guidelines.
Act as ambassador for department and company at all times.
Offer the highest levels confidentiality around employees medical files/data information.
Promote the security of all specific employee medical information
Create and maintain accurate files and reports.
Create and maintain Employee Medical files and verify all sick leave issued by external medical care providers.
Develop internal and external relationships to benefit business.
Create, develop and manage team including Performance Appraisals, training, recruiting new employees etc.
Review & make recommendations regarding ones own specific department to improve productivity for the Business.
Examine patients and diagnose/treat where ever possible to aid a speedy recovery and return to work.
Execute various tests, analyse, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition. Refer to Government Hospital/Private Clinic for further treatment if and when necessary.
Administer/ prescribe treatments and drugs.
Administer Flu jabs to Senior Management/frequent business travellers.
Carry out First Aid/Emergency calls at Head Office in.
Conduct physical examinations if and when required to provide information needed for consideration for jobs, or return to duties following illness/injury.
Reports outbreak of contagious diseases to governmental authorities.
Advise patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
Knowledge:
Must hold GP and/or Family Practitioner qualifications Must be fluent in both Arabic and English Must hold a valid UAE Medical License
Must have experience in the same role within UAE Experience as a Company Doctor would be an advantage
Skills:
Good communication Skills PC literate People management skills an advantage
