Primary Objective / Purpose of the Role
- To provide HR support to corporate internal customers, with an emphasis on recruitment and selection.
- To also assist with the expansion of the Corporate Human Resources Department by participating in the development of HR policies, procedures and systems, and other HR initiatives.
Roles & Responsibility
- To recruit and select suitable employees into the designated business units.
- To ensure all recruitment positions have an up-to-date job description and are evaluated accordingly.
- To ensure all candidates recruited receive the relevant pre-employment documentation.
- To ensure all new employees receive an induction
- Assist Corporate Management team with the development of HR policies, procedures and systems
- Make recommendations regarding improvements to existing policies, procedures and systems.
- Develop a good working relationship with other departments and with all employees.
- Provide advice to managers and employees regarding HR issues.
- Provide weekly recruitment status, update reports
- Provide a professional and efficient service to all employees.
- Visit the operational sites as required to gain operational knowledge and understanding.
- Control over staff accommodation, coordinate with the facilities management team.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by the Corporate HR Manager
