Description
Provide legal expertise and advice on a number of legal areas such as commercial contracts, regulatory, employment, dispute resolution, and governance issues
Draft and negotiate programming and publishing contracts including rights acquisitions, content licenses, commissions, cast & crew agreements
Provide local and international know-how across the regional remit
Advise the senior legal team and other senior stakeholders on risk and regulatory changes
Profile
Candidates who apply should meet all of the below criteria:
Law qualified and licensed under a relevant jurisdictionFluent Arabic speaker (ability to review contracts in Arabic)Media experience: knowledge of media laws across multiple publication platformsMiddle East experience is advantageous
