Design Engineer (Mechanical) – Future Pipe Industries

JOB PURPOSE:

Develop & implement technical solutions for process improvement and different engineering projects for procurement and manufacturing.

Financial Dimensions:

N/A for this role

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Output 3D model and CAD drafts/ manufacturing drawings.

Design new machinery and concepts.
Design Machinery Upgrades.
Design Machine Parts.
Communicate with suppliers and customers.
Provide Technical Support to requestor.

Equipment transfers & Modifications.

Ensure a smooth and supported equipment transition to FPI. other manufacturing companies.
Prepare the necessary documentation for equipment transition.
Handle Equipment Inquiries.
Design and improve machines and machine parts.
Supervise the upgrading and building of new equipment and systems.

Training and reporting

Provide the necessary training, and support for assigned projects.
Verify & Commission outside manufactured components.
Prepare operating / troubleshooting manuals for new projects.

HSE

Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks.
Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents.
Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order.

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION

Internal: Technology, Maintenance, Production, QC/QA.
External: Suppliers (Local & Overseas), Other manufacturing units
