Overview of the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Accountant to join our team at the TY & LX Showroom and Workshop. This role involves providing crucial support to the Finance Business Partner (FBP) – Retail and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes for both Toyota and Lexus.

What you will do

Manage revenue collection, including cash, credit card, cheque payments, and online transfers
Ensure timely posting and scanning of cheques, and maintain daily collection and petty cash funds
Monitor insurance limits for cash collection and ensure compliance with company policies
Handle petty cash management, including posting documents and customer cash refunds
Supervise cash and cheque transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies
Reconcile daily RTA eWallet transactions and manage eWallet cash float
Oversee accounts receivables management, including monitoring branch AR reports and reconciling credit customer accounts
Perform financial transactions, process invoices, and ensure all relevant documentation is complete
Support and guide matrix managers, sales team, and sales admin
Conduct financial reporting, cost monitoring, and internal controls
