We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Consultant to join our prestigious medical hospital in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
2. Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and junior doctors, ensuring high standards of patient care.
3. Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage the ongoing care of patients in the ICU.
4. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, collaborating with specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Mentor and train junior medical staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
6. Engage in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement projects.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care medicine and implement evidence-based practices.
8. Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing updates and addressing concerns regarding treatment plans.
9. Participate in on-call duties and respond to emergencies as required.
10. Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials to advance the field of intensive care medicine.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Board certification in intensive care medicine or a related specialty.
2. Extensive experience in managing critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions in a timely manner.
6. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
7. Proven track record of participating in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
8. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
