ob Summary:

Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all lifting and rigging operations on site to ensure safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review lifting plans

· Inspect lifting equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, etc.

· Direct lifting operations and ensure correct signaling

· Verify qualifications of riggers, signalmen, and crane operators

· Conduct pre-lift safety briefings

· Stop unsafe operations immediately and report

· Maintain lifting equipment logs and inspection records

· Liaise with site management, safety officers, and crane rental companies

Requirements:

· Valid Lifting Supervisor Certificate from an approved body (OPITO / TUV / ADNOC-approved)(a must)

· Valid Rigging & Slinging Certificate (Intermediate or above)

· Valid Bankman/Slinger Certificate (signalman qualification)

· Preferred 5 years of lifting supervision experience, including 2 years in UAE

· Knowledge of ADNOC Lifting Standards or BS 7121

· Ability to read and understand lift plans and load charts

· Good command of English (spoken and written)

· Physically fit to work in a construction/industrial environment

Preferred (Nice to Have):

· Crane/Lifting Equipment Inspector certification
