To advise the CFO and assist in maintaining and developing the Safety Management System, Policy and Manual on HSE matters specific to the Islands.
To advise the CFO and assist in maintaining and developing the Quality Manual and Quality Policy on maters specific to THOE.
To promote a HSE culture and lead efforts to improve HSE and Quality performance.
To liaise with all department heads on matters of Quality Assurance ensuring that the quality philosophy is foremost in their minds.
To advise Managers/Supervisors on matters relating to Quality, Health and Safety.
To make the senior management aware of any significant incidents or accidents.
To be responsible for co-ordinating Quality Assurance to a high standard for the group, to comply with ISO* and API* and managing all the procedures and works instructions which apply to these standards.
To ensure that legal and 'best practice' is implemented as far as records, documentation, storage, retrieval, archiving, presentation and back-up are concerned.
To liaise with clients and suppliers on all matters concerning QA.
To co-ordinate a programme of risk assessments to ensure all operations are assessed.
To effect continual improvement in the management information system of the group.
To engage in any other reasonable activities requested by the CFO.
