Working as a mobile phone repair technician, duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:
1. Identifying faults of smartphones and other related electronics devices.
2. Replacing faulty mechanical parts
3. Refurbishing phones up to the standards agreed with the customers.
4. Ensuring full functionality of the phone before submitting it to the next step of the process
5. Declaring all the repairs done, faults found and parts replaced.
Hand soldering required manufacturer specific parts
6. Greet the walk in customers and listen to their complaints regarding the malfunctioning of their phones
7. Examine the mobiles phones to identify the cause of trouble.
8. Provide the customers with cost estimate and a tentative date to conclude the repair work
9. Open up the mobile phone and check the battery life, wirings and connections, screens and other components for efficiency
10. Mend the defects and replace the broken/used up parts and recheck the performance of the mobile phones
11. Deal with clients while returning the mobile phones and receiving fees
12. Diagnose the defective phones and identify root cause of the problem
13. Ensure the components such as Sim cards, data cards and memory cards suit the model
Make certain the different software downloaded on the mobile phones are compatible with it
14. Repair the damages caused to the phone due to contact with water, heat and light
15. Eliminate errors of persistent failure of locking, hanging or slowing of the mobile phones
16. Remove the screen of the cell phone and replace with a new one
