CHIEF SPECIALIST (Drivers Training)

Reporting to: Director
Our client is a major independent entity in Middle East that provides effective and integrated transport system within GCC. They are looking for a result and goal driven Chief Specialist with 10 years' experience in transportation with strong knowledge on federal and local laws within licensing institution.
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work closely with the senior management to develop and update five/three year's strategy, strategic objectives for developing drivers training in Dubai.- Plan and develop the yearly operational plans for the shared services including projects, business development and change management projects.- Define the quality manuals and processes, applying quality assurance mechanisms and monitor performance to driving learning experience.- Develop, review and assess new drivers training methodologies, policies and processes, its implementation outcomes as per international best practices.- Identify the gaps in KPI's from Targets and suggest Corrective Actions & Areas of Improvement's in consultation with the Section Manager.- Coordinate with all stakeholders concerned in development, enhancement, deployment and measurement of all organizational development and effectiveness programs and processes.- Conduct the special assignments based on the work and management requirements.- Communicate and manage the relation with the international associations and memberships, which are used as a benchmark and best practices source.- Direct and supervise the implementation of new subjects and curriculum enhancement with the chief trainers in institutes.- Identify and study all training materials used in the training, in accordance with the standards and requirements and benchmark them with global practice and traffic safety requirements.- Research and manage all needed planned or add-hock technical training bodies to provide the right training for driving instituters'.- Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master degree in Traffic Safety from a recognized university- 10 years of relevant working experience- Knowledge of procedures and federal and local laws relating to the Authority and the Interior in the area of licensing institutions and driver's license.- Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.- Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.- Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
