Company Brief:
Our client is a global leader in Insurance and Re-insurance solutions, seeking to recruit Sales Executives for Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Position will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for bringing in a wide range of clients to the company and ensuring the smooth running of business operations as well as overseeing the work of the operations officers
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an insurance company or brokerage
- Implement and abide by branch policies and procedures
- Manage a team of sales executives
- Receive directions from General Manager regarding budget, target, strategy, etc.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
- Project expected sales volume and profit
- Reach monthly/yearly sales and portfolio growth targets
- Develop a portfolio of clients for the company and bring in clients from own portfolio
- Meet regularly with new individual and corporate clients as well as insurance companies to expand the existing book of business
- Ensure all insurance policies are in line with underwriting guidelines
- Assist customers with their claims and support claims department whenever required
- Manage insurance data reports, and report them to General Manager
- Oversee policy histories and expiry of contracts, and interfere in remedial measures when churn rates are high
- Manage conflicts with customers in case of escalation of problems
- Motivate, manage and develop officers in the operations department
- Develop service standards, performance benchmarks, and objective goals in line with company goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by his direct superior
- Preferably has his/her own portfolio
- Must have knowledge of local laws and practices
- Good comprehension of insurance plans and offers
- Meet regularly with new individuals and corporate clients as well as insurance companies to expand the existing book of business
- Has the entrepreneurial spirit and ready for challenges
- Presentable with good presentations skills
- Eager for a challenge, motivated, driven and has a personalized touch towards handling customers
- Excellent Client Relations and Customer Service skills
- Problem-solver and Analytical Thinker
- Assist customers with their claims and support claims department whenever required
- Capable of managing several accounts efficiently
- Manage conflicts with customers and escalate to the right stakeholder
- Must have high commercial awareness and numerical skills
- Someone result oriented, focused with sound sales experience
- A candidate that has the mix of a consultative & hunter mindset
- Strong negotiation and contract closure skills
