Responsible for end to end management of accounting and financial reporting function inclusive of Sales and Marketing, Warehouse and Operations.
• Joint responsibility for annual and quarterly financial reports, including budgeting process.
• Required to perform cost accounting duties including maintaining product cost, inventory valuation and cost analysis
• Support the overall monthly closing function, which may include forecast variance explanations, analysis requests, rebate calculations, and balance sheet reconciliations for US and European entities.
• Assist with preparation of financial reports for consolidated multinational reporting.
• Provide support to plant and sales managers for overall cost management review and strategic deployment metric reporting.
• Analyse financial data including, but not limited to P&L forecast to actual comparisons, sales/margin analysis, operating costs, inventory, product costing, and cash flow.
• Cash management responsibilities include preparing vendor payment proposals and reconciling to the cash forecast, as well as processing Agent commission payments and responding to Agent questions.
• Responsible for internal and external audits.
• Oversee compliance to company policy and external authorities under various trade requirements
• Participate in special projects as required.
• To complete an annual Budget and perform monthly forecasting requirements.
• To maintain the books in accordance to local Statutory requirements as well as US GAAP and a reconciliation between the two is required.
• To ensure that the proper Internal Control Structure Environment.
• Timely employee payments and payroll processing. Monitor expenses and adhere to local policies and guidelines.
• Management of invoice payment and process and accounting to respective cost centers.
