The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior consultant to play a key role in Frost & Sullivan Industrial practice, within the MENA region. A senior person with a blend of business development and project management skills with excellent strategy and implementation skills, work is both on an individual basis and as part of a project team. The suitable candidate will play a critical role in front ending with clients as a supporting resource for business development activities, and in delivery of project initiatives. Reporting to the regional Business Unit Leader of the Industrial practice, the Senior Consultant will lead, coordinate and manage the consulting and implementation projects in close coordination with clients on the project management side.
On the business development front, the Senior Consultant will work with clients to understand their requirements, develop and present proposal and book business.
The successful candidate will be an experienced research professional with comprehensive knowledge of one or more of the following industries: Energy, Power, Environment, Building Technologies, Industrial Automation, Process Control, Oil & Gas, After Market services related to the sectors outlined here (including knowledge of the industry structure, operational practice, business functionalities and competitive landscape). The functional breadth of projects includes topics such as identification and prioritization of strategic options (long- and short-term opportunities), analysis of market entry options, feasibility studies, go to market strategies, business models and strategic road map developments and other related topics
Key responsibilities
Create/ develop business models, market scenarios and forecasts relevant to respective projects
Deliver high-quality analysis related to evolving technology and business trends in the Industrial sector (and specific sub-segments), mostly in response to specific client requests
Identify relevant strategies for clients based on insights, work with client resources (including C-level executives when need be)
Develop fact-based recommendations and priorities for actionable strategies to be implemented by clients
Enthusiasm to take ownership for analysis undertaken, manage teams working under this role to deliver projects in the proposed time and budget, with highest levels of credibility
Establish good working relationships with colleagues analyst across global multi-functional teams focusing on Industrial markets
Teamwork: Proven effective cross team working skills, being able to work in an open and trusting way across the broader Consulting & Research teams throughout Frost & Sullivan.
Be a vital part of the growth of the Industrial research group as it expands its reach across the entire MENA region
Provide input to development of consulting best practice, offerings and strategy
Managing Tasks- Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritize own work-load to ensure project objectives and targets met
Support the company’s business development initiatives
Developing proposals on behalf of the Business Unit Leader, and for the sales team
participate as a speaker/ panelist at non sponsored industry events
The job would involve travel across the MENA region, ranging from 30% to 70%, depending on projects
