The role of the Graphic Designer is to develop high quality visual assets that will support the team’s outreach and engagement activities, as well as engaging collateral that will serve as tangible touch points and initiatives across the nation.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Be a source of visual content within the team, working independently and taking responsibility for each phase of design, from initial concept to final deliverable;
- Design, create and deliver high quality and engaging visual communications, including (but not limited to) graphic design, illustration graphics, digital screens design, presentations, mood boards and storyboard direction;
- Design, create and deliver high quality visual content for social media use, including static infographics and short video edits or GIFs;
- Ensure that creative content reflects the specified messaging and is relevant to the specified audience;
- Collaborate with different departments across the organisation and liaise directly with stakeholders or external suppliers where required;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and share ideas on how to deliver in the most effective and engaging way;
- Show flexibility and a strong ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and to firm deadlines.
