The role of the Junior Graphic Designer is to develop high quality visual assets that will support the team’s outreach and engagement activities, as well as engaging collateral that will serve as tangible touch points and initiatives across the nation.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Design, create and deliver high quality and engaging visual communications, including (but not limited to) graphic design, illustration graphics, digital screens design, presentations, and mood boards;
- Design, create and deliver high quality visual content for social media use, including static infographics;
- Ensure that creative content reflects the specified messaging and is relevant to the specified audience;
- Collaborate with different departments across the organisation and be a source of visual content within the team;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and share ideas on how to deliver in the most effective and engaging way;
- Show flexibility and a strong ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and to firm deadlines;
- Show good knowledge of design trends, current and future, and provide guidance where necessary on best practice and emerging trends.
