Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders, consultants and contractors from a variety of fields to transform the interior space of commercial, mixed use, and industrial buildings to create an interior environment that is innovative, positive, functional and safe.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare a projects brief for the interior design as per the client and project requirements.
- Assist in analyzing, reviewing and evaluating the technical and financial proposals submitted by the consultancy firms with regard to interior design
Oversee and manage pre/post Interior Design contract by closely working with the consultants, fit out contracts etc. - Execute projects according to plan and budget, explicitly minimizing and mitigating project risks.
Manage and oversee upgrades and changes in the design strategy of projects to ensure all the changes have been captured as per business unit requirements. - Review and evaluate work plan documents, drawings and approve deliverables at each work stage.
- Set project schedules for the end to end project management.
- Keep up to date about the knowledge of different materials, suppliers, fit out companies etc.
- Analyse and select appropriate materials to deliver a project that meet internal guidelines on design and within the assigned budget.
- Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape, upcoming trends, and innovative concepts and ensure the team is updated with the same.
- Consult with architects, quantity surveyors and engineers as and when required.
- Manage priorities with dependents, delivery organizations and stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth
Maintain regular communication channels (primarily through emails) to sustain awareness and updates of detailed aspects related to processes. - Prepare periodic Project reports and submit them to the Head of Building Design, highlighting status updates.
- Perform any other related activity as directed by the line manager.
