The Senior Manager will support the Ceremonies Director in all aspects of delivery, including contractor liaison and issue resolution with FAs internally to be able to meet the project delivery across the wider business, day to day operations of the project, and provide delivery support to the Director.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure an effective management of the required contractors and suppliers to deliver the Ceremonies;
- Liaise with the Expo relevant departments, and stakeholders to ensure delivery requirements are planned and agreed for all aspects of Ceremonies;
- Ensure alignment of milestones and deliverables with the overarching CER programme, ensure internal reporting processes are met and lead integration with other CER Department projects, contractors and suppliers;
- Liaise with the relevant departments/FAs, and stakeholder organisations to ensure delivery requirements are planned and agreed for all aspects of Ceremonies;
- Lead planning & integration with internal Expo FAs, communicating deliverables and dependencies, agreeing service levels, ensuring delivery of requirements for the Project and resolving any issues relating to FA deliverables for the Production Company contractor;
- Ensure the Production Company contractor is meeting the centralised monitoring and reporting of milestones and deliverables for the Project;
- Manage the risk management framework and ensure the contractor’s compliance with reporting appropriate risk mitigation measures and contingency plan;
- Lead planning of event time integration with the wider department , Expo team and lead any requirements of Expo Readiness and testing related to Ceremonies;
- Lead the strategic development of the event time daily meeting, reporting methods for contractors and other tasks, as directed by the Director-Ceremonies.
