POSITION: Technical Assistant
SALARY: 30,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus Family Medical Insurance (spouse and 2 children)

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Open to any nationality
Male/Female, 45 years old and below
Open to overseas candidates
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Engineering/Science or higher in Petroleum Engineering/Geology/Geophysics
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the same role
Practical experience in handling E and P data as well as familiarity to concepts of Petroleum/Geology and Geophysics is desirable
Basic experience in exporting and manipulating data for visual purposes within Petrel and Kingdom would be advantageous, but not required
Computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, QGIS and Adobe Illustrator)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of new ventures/business development activities within the petroleum industry
Excellent presentation skills; analytical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to continual learning
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work within an integrated team who are responsible for all exploration and development activities of the company
Produce maps, cross-sections and other graphical elements to support field development, exploration and business development activities
Assist in compiling farmout documentation and presentations for technical committee and senior management presentations
Take responsibility for the company’s GIS database, currently built within QGIS. Extend the project and update as new information is received
Rescale and convert maps to different coordinate systems as required
Identify I.T. solutions or process enhancements that can improve efficiency and quality of outputs
