Role Purpose:
Technical Expert, IT Systems is responsible for analyzing, configuring, maintaining and supporting on all IT systems & technologies in the entire zone including Microsoft active directory services, Exchange services, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), system center suites, Citrix, on premise Datacenter Hardware systems including Servers (Rack, blade), Storage Systems, backup devices, SAN switches and ensures security, availability of systems to support the business.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Projects Planning
- Support the new openings by configuration of IT systems
- Maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with supplier and partners
- Maintain proper documentation for all relative fields of responsibility
- Promotes and practice communication and participatory management within the team
- Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operation
Hardware, Software, Security & Support
- Maintain data centers and all servers of the zone
- Install the servers OS and administrate the related domains for the zone
- Implement the Zone Systems part of the Disaster Recovery including building the Zone Disaster Recovery Centers
- Securing company data using windows updates, Anti-Virus and Encryption
- Ensure the backup procedures are followed for users and systems data
- Implement and administer the MS Exchange Servers for Zone HO
- Provide the role of 2nd & 3rd level support for countries and stores
- Deliver systems securely to mobile users for better productivity using technologies such as MDM (Mobile device Management)
- Respect and enforce the security and safety procedures
- Ensure the Periodical tests “Full Back up restore, Hosts fails over test …etc.” are done according to the procedures and corrective actions are applied
- Guarantee the quality, confidentiality and application and protection of company’s “Know-How”
- Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any down time in operations.
- Guarantee that the information provided by the system is accurate and usable
- Provide clear, correct, and concise information
IT Assets
- Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the company’s assets
General
- Practices the company values and guarantees the same is respected and followed by the department team members
- Ensure the existence of technical training modules for administration of all systems under the responsibility and participate in the training delivery
- Contribute to the internal communication of the company strategy and objectives
- Communicate social information that can affect the activities and/or image of the Company
- Guarantee minimum delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operation
- Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the company
- Support necessary measures towards continuous growth of the company
