Main Responsibilities:
Draft and update agreements with suppliers in line with company’s financial and strategic goals.
Analyse costs and present ideas that will contribute to maximise the resources of the company.
Keep track of market changes and suppliers’ offerings.
Keep close control on all items procured and received. Ensuring they are of the expectations of the requesting department.
Maintain a productive relationship with the other heads of departments, especially bar and kitchen, to ensure requisitions are in control as well as their forecasted costs.
Monitor stock par levels in all storages, forecasting occasional spikes in requirements
Plan ahead. Consider delivery timings and operational needs.
Advise when costs exceed the budgeted ones.
Keep a positive and fruitful relationship with the other heads of departments.
Supplier relationship:
Communicate ethically! Always. Show respect and consideration with our suppliers yet stand firm when the same is not reciprocated.
Plan! Every month, taking into consideration business volume forecasted and local festivities to ensure a fair expectation/reality dynamic.
