To be a customer centric team leader and assist the store manager to develop & motivate the store team to achieve the agreed on objectives of the company.


Key Job Responsibilities include but not restricted to:


Business Performance


  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving the sales & margin objectives for the assigned store

  • Assist the Store Manager in achieving the inventory related objectives for the assigned store

  • Ensure smooth function of supply chain /  store Inventory by controlling re-ordering, returns & stock transfers

  • Ensure that all merchandising activities in the store reflect the needs of the trading period in line with the “ECity Marketing Calendar”

  • Identify potential security risks and thefts and take preventive measures to control pilferage / loss

  • In absence of store manager plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules and time cards.

  • Assist the Store Manager in proper implementation of store organization / operating procedures / Inventory schedules / stock adjustment / documentation / control store security procedures.

Customer Focus


  • Live the FISH Philosophy at work place - 100% implementation covering all employees in the store

  • Ensure that the customer needs are met satisfactorily through trained staff, customer service initiatives, customer feedback mechanisms etc.,

  • Direct / control customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales & customer satisfaction

  • Assisting the manager in controlling the customer product delivery process in coordination with the home delivery team to ensure customers get their products on time

  • Assisting the manager in controlling the after sales services such as exchange / refunds in coordination with service teams

  • In absence of the store manager inspect, monitor and continually improve customer engagement services of the staff

  • To review customer complaints / suggestions and propose improvements in customer service standards

  • Control customer service activities of 3rd party service providers such as

  • merchandisers, service squad, etc

People Development


  • Ensure staff are motivated and develop a professional retail work environment.

  • Identify training needs and provide regular training on current and new product lines through suppliers & internal trainers in order to ensure staff retention and development.

Quality Excellence


  • Gather market / competition information through periodic visits to competitor outlets and forward the same to the management

  • Be aware of the latest government rules and regulations and ensure unwavering adherence to the same

  • Be the ambassador for best business practices, ethics and code of conduct and ensure that business is conducted with uncompromising honesty and integrity while dealing with internal and external customers
