JOB PURPOSE:

This role is required to perform high skilled carpentry jobs, in order to ensure completion of all projects as per the given specifications, budgets and timelines

Functional Responsibilities:

· Analysing engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and painting operations
· Determine the appropriate painting equipment or method based on requirements
· Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
· Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
· Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
· Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
· Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
· Deliver orders from start to finish; to time, cost, quality and safety standards.
· Follow all Health & Safety practices and procedures.
· Preparing Cutting Lists, which clearly define the complete measurement such as length, height, breadth etc based on the final approved drawings.
· Check & allocate timber based on the density, moisture content, appearance and other specification required for the production.
· Optimally utilise resources such as the material, machines and tools.
· Arrange timely movement of the various components / Assembled products to paint shop to lend the form of a finished product in accordance with the sample.
· Arrange movement of finished material in an organized and timely manner to dispatch section and from thereon to the site as per the site installation schedule.
· Coordinate and ensure support to site on any offhand special request to enable smooth installation & completion of project.
