To look after horses' everyday needs and make sure they are healthy and in good condition.
- Provide Food and water for the horses
- Taking care and look after the horses including brushing, clipping and bathing
- Treating minor injuries, and consulting with veterinarians when more advanced care is needed
- Exercise the horses on daily basis with the supervision of Horse Trainer / Stable Manager
- Adjust controls to regulate temperature and humidity of the stables. Make seasonal changes in the internal climate of the quarters.
- Receives and stores materials and supplies. Notify the supervisor when inventory needs replenishing.
- Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned and carryout work with highest quality of workmanship. This is the most critical success factor for this position.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation of stable as well as all equipment such as saddles and bridles
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with family members, management, other groomers, palace staff and people associated to the animal.
- Undertake any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
