Role Overview

As a Trading Support Engineer at OEXN Broker Limited, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our trading platforms and systems. You will collaborate closely with traders, developers, and operations teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance the performance of our trading infrastructure. The role requires a high level of self-driving and self-learning capabilities to adapt to fast-paced changes in the financial technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Platform Support: Provide real-time technical support for our FX and CFD trading platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Incident Management: Quickly identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues impacting trading activities, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.
System Optimization: Work on performance tuning and optimization of trading systems to handle high-frequency transactions efficiently.
Software Development: Develop and maintain internal tools and scripts to automate processes and improve system reliability.
Collaboration: Liaise with front-office traders, back-office operations, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Quantitative Analysis: Perform quantitative analysis on trading data to identify trends, patterns, and improve system performance.
Model Testing: Design and implement tests for trading models to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
Driving Factor Validation: Validate and assess the driving factors affecting the performance of trading algorithms and models.
Overtime Requirement: Ability to work overtime, when necessary, especially during critical system updates or trading disruptions.
