Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in maintaining the General Ledger, Trial Balance, and day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the General Ledger and accounting records.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance and ensure accuracy of ledger balances.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Prepare routine financial reports and accounting statements.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and supporting documents.
Requirements
- Arabic language proficiency – mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience as an Accountant.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of General Ledger and Trial Balance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Similar experience is preferred.
