About the Role
This is a hands-on Quantity Surveyor role for someone who owns the commercial side of fit-out delivery — from the first quotation to the final progress billing. You'll be the person tender documents, variation orders, and vendor comparisons run through, working shoulder-to-shoulder with project and engineering teams to keep every job commercially sound. If you know your way around a BOQ and can hold your own in a vendor negotiation, this role gives you real ownership over the numbers that make projects profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for new inquiries
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project costing
- Prepare and manage variation orders
- Prepare and submit progress billings
- Prepare, review, and analyse tender documents
- Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from vendors
- Prepare detailed comparative statements and commercial analysis
- Coordinate and facilitate vendor appointments
- Handle material and vendor-related commercial activities
- Coordinate closely with project and engineering teams
