Job Purpose:
The Sales promoter maintains inventory by restocking shelves, observing inventory levels, prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low, arranging for return and credit for damaged products.
Key Accountabilities:
• Greet and assist customers in selecting products.
• Demonstrate/Explain product features to walk-in customers and close sales.
• Maintain merchandising planogram that balance customers POS expectations and company’s objectives.
• Analyse sales figures, customer’s reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product range/stock.
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
• Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.
• Monitor stock movement and consider promotions & maintain price tags on shelves.
• Maintain FIFO at store level and suggest any stock rotation to salesman.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and business code of conduct.
