Progressive GE is supporting a global client within the water treatment sector that is looking for a readily available Procurement Engineer to join a project in Ajman UAE for a 4 - 6 month extendable contract which will likely term full time.
As this is a short term job, this is ideally suited to a procurement engineer available now for a quick start. There is chance that if the engineer gets on well, the job could term full time.

- Must have: 10+ years experience within procurement and must have procurement experience in water treatment field
- Negotiate with vendors the commercial and delivery terms, according to company policies.
- Prepare contracts inclusive of supply agreements and purchase orders to various project vendors.
- Follow up within the company and the vendors for the LC's , payments, invoices , bank guarantees and other commercial conditions and make sure the vendors /banks documents are valid.
- Arrange for various logistics to deliver the goods from abroad (mainly Europe and USA) , and follow up in clearing the customs
