o Provides guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to the team.
o Supervise daily activities of the technical team ensuring that all equipment is repaired and maintained to the expected standard.
o Responding to maintenance requests within contractual SLA’s once issued to the PDA.
o Managing the update of reactive tasks on the PDA to ensure that tasks are always updated with current information.
o Plan technicians workload to ensure that they remain productive at all times.
o Carry out spot checks on the quality of the technicians work in order to maintain high standards.
o Coordinate with other technicians to ensure satisfactory completion of works.
o Provide technical assistance to subordinates as and when required.
o Review daily pending jobs report and chase materials from the stores to ensure that tasks are completed quickly and efficiently.
o Raise any SLA failures with the MEP Supervisor and agree an action plan to complete.
o Deliver daily tool box talks to reactive and PPM teams under the Team Leader’s supervision.
o Ensures that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
o Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
o Promote a safe work environment and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
o Identify spare parts and consumables requirements and prepare material requisitions for procurement
o Other duties as required.
o Required to work hours to meet operational needs.
