Our client is a large leading group of company in Dubai looking for a Business Development Manager (Beef & Poultry - Food Services) who will be responsible to develop and deliver profitable, sustainable business in GCC & other markets. This role involves developing relationships and strategies with employees of Franchisers, Franchisees, distributors, Horreca and hospitality to deliver a long term business benefits. This job role will be directly reporting to the Operations Head.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for new potential business and portfolios
- Manage the monthly orders and DLV plan
Secure a rolling yearly forecast from all Markets
- Quarterly monitoring & reconfirmation of orders as per agreed forecaster figures.
- Retain and maintain a long term relationship with customers.
- Conduct frequent market visit to customers in the region based on business weight.
- Develop the business either by new SKUs with the current customers menu or new customers
- Build contacts with all supply chain and decision making managers
- Comprehend the customer’s business requirements and operation KPIs.
- Ensure that customers understand our operational standards of lead time of ordering/producing/DLV.
- Ensures produced stocks are sold as forecaster.
- Maintain forecast accuracy.
- Ensure sales Mix is maintained of 70% form products.
- Ensure net profit per product is maintained.
- Secure communication and implementation of price revision by the management on half yearly (or as required) bases to all Key accounts customers.
- Monitor and gather market intelligence information on competitor activities and plans.
- Secure the deliveries cycle (availability, capability, reliability and commitment) through coordination and full alignment with related departments (purchasing, production, logistics & Quality Assurance).
- Update forecast to purchasing and production Dept up on any updates by the customer related to increase or decrease of volume.
- Circulate the monthly orders summary sheet to all concern Dept. (Production, Supply chain & logistics)
- Confirm the customer’s monthly orders in SAP system (Local/Regional).
- Day to day operation follow-up and solving of QA, Accounting issues related to sales/DLV.
